Residents of Clayton County District 1 can attend a Community Planning Unit meeting on Saturday, August 5 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The meeting will take place at the Clayton County Police Sector 1 Precinct, 3161 Anvil Block Road, Ellenwood.

No agenda was made available for the public meeting, which any citizen can attend. However, community planning units (CPUs) and neighborhood planning units (NPUs) are quasi-governmental groups where citizens can take part in the local planning process, particularly around federal grant money.

For more information, contact District 1 Constituent Aide LaVona Cooper, (770) 473-5770.
