Former Clayton County sheriff Victor Hill has been ordered to appear to testify in Sweeting vs. Allen, a federal employment case brought by a former CCSO deputy.

U.S. District Judge J. P. Boulee signed an order for the Bureau of Prisons to produce Hill to “appear for and provide testimony at trial” on August 22 at 9 a.m. in Courtroom 1908.

Kyetha Sweeting, a former corrections officer, is suing under the Americans with Disabilities Act. She alleges she was fired because she has a “debilitating migraines” disability and that Hill issues a criminal trespass warrant against her when he terminated her.

Hill is serving an 18-month sentence at FCI Forrest City Low in Arkansas for violating jail detainees’ civil rights.

Sweeting’s attorneys say they might bring up Hill’s personal relationship with Allen during the trial.
