Lots going on this week after all the summer festivities. City elected officials will be shuffling back from the annual Georgia Municipal Association convention in Savannah by mid-week and the Board of Commissioners definitely does NOT have a scheduled meeting on its calendar this week (unless someone requests a special called meeting). Let’s get to it:

  • 6 p.m.: The Clayton County Board of Education holds a work session/meeting at district headquarters, 1058 Fifth Ave., Jonesboro.
