The Clayton County Board of Commissioners will consider a resolution to cancel its contract with controversial developer Roman United.
According to the published agenda, Resolution 2023-93 would authorize the County “to terminate a Development Agreement with Roman United Construction, LLC.”
That agreement—for Roman United to build a business incubator—is between the Development Authority of Clayton County (Invest Clayton) and Roman United.
In recent weeks, the BOC has demanded that Roman United return county funds it was given to develop plans for the project.
The BOC holds a pre-agenda meeting tonight at 5:30 p.m., followed by the regular meeting at 6:30 p.m.
