The Clayton County Water Authority will distribute bottled water at a single location today, 8890 Roberts Road in Jonesboro, at the rear entrance of the W.B. Casey water Resource Recovery Facility.
Water distribution will take place from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., or until supplies run out, to accommodate people who work during normal business hours.
To pick up a case of water, enter at 8890 Roberts Road off Flint River Road, then follow signs to the back entrance of CCWA’s W.B. Casey Water Resource Recovery Facility. (This is the same traffic pattern that CCWA uses for its hazardous materials dropoff,)
The limit is one case of bottled water per vehicle. CCWA does not require an ID for water pickup.
