Clayton County Police are working the scene of a fatal crash at Old Dixie Road and Tara Boulevard near Exit 235 and urge everyone to stay away from the area. Ten people were seriously injured and four vehicles were involved.
A driver ran a red light and several cars caught fire, CCPD said.
Traffic is blocked in all directions, according to GA511.
CCPD said the area will be shut down for “hours.”
Drivers who need to get on I-75 should use Forest Parkway near the cities of Forest Park and Riverdale or Jonesboro Road in the city of Morrow. You can get Tara Boulevard south of Mount Zion Road using Mount Zion Road and points south.
