R’Kayla Briggs, the 11-year-old girl who left home with an adult, has been found, according to the Clayton County Police Department.

“Yes, she is with us,” a spokesperson told The Clayton Crescent.

The investigation is ongoing, police said. Federal law enforcement was called in to aid in finding the child.

Earlier Friday, CCPD called a press conference, urging the public not to interfere in the investigation and to call 911 if they saw Briggs or knew where she was.

More details as they become available.
