The Georgia Supreme Court has upheld Saturday voting. Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger had appealed the case brought by Sen. Raphael Warnock, the Democratic Party of Georgia and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in Fulton County.

Georgia Republicans, along with the Republican National Committee and the National Republican Senatorial Committee  had sought a reversal by the Georgia State Court of Appeals upholding the Fulton County ruling.

Raffensperger had said that early voting was not allowed November 26 because it was too close to Thanksgiving and a now-unnamed state holiday that was once dedicated to Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee.

Clayton County has announced its early voting weekend day is Sunday, November 27.

More to come.
