After an accident knocked down a power line and closed Forest Parkway Friday morning, Forest Park City Hall says it will close at noon today, July 15.

This includes City Hall, Finance, executive offices, Human Resources, Planning Building and Zoning, Recreation and Leisure, and the Forest Park Senior Center.

As of press time, Georgia Power did not know when power would be back on.

Some residences in the area that also lost electricity this morning have had their power restored.

City Hall and related offices will reopen on Monday, July 18.
