The meeting adjourned at 6: 11 p.m. after a presentation by Chief Financial Officer Emma Benton. No citizens participated in this budget hearing.
The final public hearing will take place Monday, May 23, at 6 p.m. at the Board of Education’s Administrative Complex Boardroom, 1058 Fifth Street., Jonesboro.
Budget hearings are the public’s chance to let School Board members know what they think about how CCPS plans to spend tax dollars and the impact on property owners’ tax bills.
