Similar forums will take place Tuesday, May 10 at Jonesboro High School, 7728 Mt. Zion Blvd. in Jonesboro, and Tuesday, May 17 at Michelle Obama STEM Elementary Academy, 11485 Panhandle Road, Hampton. Those forums also will start at 6 p.m.
Beasley told The Clayton Crescent, “We want to hear solutions to help us address this societal problem impacting our schools.” Specifically, Beasley says he wants to “hear ideas for long-term solutions.”
The North Clayton Middle School event was organized by Organized by Principal Shakira Rice, will be moderated by MIXX 106’s Donald “Dee Cee” Craddock, and promises a discussion on community safety with “local, state, and federal leaders.”
