Dear Friend of The Clayton Crescent:

We are almost there!!

Richard Griffiths, Chair, The Clayton Crescent Board of Trust

Now that we are through Christmas, I wanted to update you on the campaign for the long-term support of The Clayton Crescent.  As you will recall, we set an important goal of $15,000 in donations for December, which when married with three different matches, will allow us to effectively raise as much as $49,000 toward the long-term sustainability of your Clayton County-focused news site.

As of today, we have raised $11,983 toward our $15k goal.   While that is worthy of celebration, we are not quite to the finish line.

If you have already given in December, we cannot thank you enough.  If you have not given in December, we would ask that you consider an additional gift – of any amount – that would help us reach that goal.

Then we ask that you forward this email to your Clayton County friends, with your own note of encouragement for them to join you in support of this vital community service.

To guarantee the 3x match, please click here to make your tax deductible donation by midnight, Friday, December 31.    (

If you prefer to send a check, please mail it to our accounting back office:

Be sure to date and mail the check by December 31 so your gift will be 3x matched!

You have seen how The Clayton Crescent delves into the important business of Clayton County and its city governments:  Trustworthy, thoughtful, and independent reporting brought to you by our tireless executive editor, Robin Kemp.  She is making a difference in Clayton County, but she needs your support.  This is the time to show that support.
