All three incumbents on Jonesboro’s City Council will hold onto their at-large seats.
Unofficial election returns are as follows:
- Pat Sebo-Hand: 140
- Bobby Lester: 139
- Billy Powell: 128
- Alfred Dixon: 105
- Cameron Dixon: 81
Jonesboro’s three seats are won by a plurality, meaning that the top three vote-getters are seated. Like other Clayton County municipalities, Jonesboro conducts its elections on a nonpartisan basis. That means candidates don’t run as Democrats, Republicans, or as members of other political parties.
