Council votes to reappoint new board for future cases
by Robin Kemp
After a spirited discussion, the Forest Park City Council voted to hire an outside attorney to hear two pending ethics cases involving elected officials. As part of the vote, the council agreed to appoint a new Ethics Board for future cases.
The city will issue a request for proposals (RFP) for an attorney to review the cases.
Citizen attendance was sparse, with most seats filled by city employees and others with business before the council.
Cliff Pellegrine, who is running against incumbent Dabouze Antoine in Ward 2, addressed the council during public comment.
