What makes you the best candidate for this particular district?
in 2019 and receiving my Associates of Arts in Business. While at the university I was named as one of the Trailblazers of the Community. As the candidate that operates with HDD (Heart, Determination and Drive), I will always have the best interest of our students in the forefront. As a proven leader that operates with a big heart I know and understand the importance of having cooperative skills of working with others. I am one that lives by the Golden Rule “Do unto others as you would want others to do unto you.” I feel that if the world would incorporate this into their everyday living we all will get more accomplished together. The determination that lives on the inside of me is filled with excitement. This attribute is one that I’m looking forward to bringing to our district. Another driving force that pushes me to always reach for higher heights is the satisfaction of completing and achieving my goals. If I expect for my students to perform at higher levels so must I. Striving for Excellence in everything is natural for me because I know who is watching. So, therefore as the next Clayton County School Board District 8 member my standards will speak loud and clear so our students can reach their highest potentials.
What do you see as the strengths of your district?
There are many strengths that we have in our district such as: – Strong committed leadership team – Focusing on student high achievements – Increasing our graduation rates – All students have the opportunity to have access to a laptops – Early literacy programs
How do you handle conflict/people who disagree with you?
Prayer is always my first go to when conflicts or disagreements arise. I’m aware that we are all individuals therefore, we are not always going to see eye to eye on all issues. However, we must be ready and willing to work together despite our disagreements. I’m that person that is inclined to talk through the situation so, that we may come to an understanding as to what is best for the majority. Finally, I ask questions therefore I can comprehend the other person’s perspective of the conflict or disagreement.
What one project would you like to accomplish in the next 4 years if elected?
A project that I would like to see accomplished in the next 4 years is finding ways and means of increasing parental involvement within the school. This initiative is extremely dear to my heart because I know the importance of the Parent/guardian being engaged in their students school. My objective is to find strategic ways of establishing programs that would benefit both the parent and the child. In 4 years I would love to see an increase of 100% in parental involvement within the schools. For example, if the school has a strong 5 parents that are continually volunteering at the school by my 4th year in office I would want to see a minimum of 20 parents that are key volunteers within that school. It can be done we just have to work together to see it manifest.
Anything else people should know about you?

I am a forever student of this life . As the School Board Member representing District 8 it will be my responsibility to look, listen and learn from the other leaders so that I can be the best version of myself.
