Today (Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2021) is the last day for candidates to qualify for three at-large City Council seats in Jonesboro. Candidate qualifying ends at 4 p.m. at City Hall, 124 North Avenue. The fee to qualify is $277.20.
The current councilmembers whose seats are to be contested on November 2 are Bobby Lester, Billy Powell, and Pat Sebo.
