State Representative Sandra Scott (D-Rex) is hosting a Zoom meeting with school leaders from Clayton and Henry Counties tonight, Thursday, August 12, at 7 p.m.
“Let Your Voice Be Heard” will give the public a chance to discuss how back-to-school is going with Clayton County Superintendent Dr. Morcease Beasley, Henry County Superintendent Elizabeth Davis, Clayton County Board of Education Chair Jessie Goree and Henry County Board of Education Chair Holly Cobb.
This morning, Beasley appealed to parents to get vaccinated:
Parents and other adults eligible to be and getting vaccinated is critical to protecting our children from getting COVID. Please help us remain face-to-face and minimize disruption by getting vaccinated. Our children really need to be in school face-to-face. Please do your part.
