Clayton County Police are investigating the death of an unidentified man who was struck and killed by a vehicle on Forest Parkway December 16 around 6:50 a.m.

Police say they responded to Forest Parkway SE and Creekview Lane, where the pedestrian was trapped under the vehicle. Emergency medical responders found the man showed no signs of life. Officers say it’s not clear why the man had been in the road.

CCPD describes the victim as an Asian or Hispanic man between 40 and 45 years old, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and 120 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans, a black jacket, and flip-flops.

The driver is not charged at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
