The Georgia Bureau of Investigation will conduct an autopsy on the body of a man found Saturday evening in Jesters Creek in Forest Park.
The man’s body was found in the 5100 block of Springdale Road, which is between Henderson Drive and Davis Street in Rosetown.
Police found the 64-year-old Black male’s body in the creek shortly after someone reported it around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28.
No identification has been released pending notification of next of kin.
Attempts to reach a Forest Park Police spokesperson directly were unsuccessful. A dispatcher said the department was dealing with “a lot of high-priority calls tonight.”
Anyone with information is asked to call the Forest Park Police Department’s main number at (404) 366-4141 or the Criminal Investigation Division directly at (404) 608-2366.
