9,377 people in Clayton County have been diagnosed with COVID-19 as of Friday, Nov. 20, according to the Clayton County Health District. 192 Clayton County residents have died of the disease, according to the Georgia Department of Public Heath.

Jonesboro, Riverdale, and Forest Park have had the most cases:

According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, 399,410 Georgians have been diagnosed with COVID-19 since the pandemic began. Of those, 8,591 people have died of COVID-19 and another 551 people are thought to have died of the disease. 33,897 have been hospitalized, with 6,340 sent to the intensive care unit. 41,185 people have tested positive for COVID-19 antigens.

Clayton County has seen 689 cases of COVID-19 in the past two weeks, GDPH says. Ten percent of tests have come back positive in the past two weeks, with an overall positivity rate of 12.3 percent.

Clayton County’s death rate is 63 per 100,000 residents.
