7:23 a.m. CORRECTION: CCPD says location is 500 block Museum Circle; address is Riverdale, not Jonesboro
Clayton County Police are investigating a quadruple shooting near the Melrose Mobile Home Park off Tara Boulevard.
Police say they responded to a shots fired call in the 500 block of Museum Circle around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15. One person died at the scene and three more were transported to a local hospital, where a second person died. The other two victims’ conditions are not known, police say.
CCPD says its Criminal Investigations Division has taken over the case, but that the motive “and all other details” are unknown as of press time.
