Here are the latest COVID-19 case counts by city from the Clayton County Health District:
According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, 416 Clayton County residents have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past two weeks, a rate of 136 people per 100,000. Overall, the county has had 7,948 cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began, at a rate of 2,607 cases per 100,000.
In Clayton County, 175 people are known to have died of COVID-19 since the pandemic began. That’s a case rate of 57.4 deaths per 100,000 people in a county estimated to have 304,838 residents.
The City of Riverdale has a free COVID-19 testing site at the Riverdale Town Center, 7210 Church Street. You must make an appointment but testing is free of charge.
