As what’s left of Hurricane Sally dumps tropical rain on Clayton County and the Southside, the National Weather Service has extended its flash flood warning until 9:45 a.m.
A wind advisory is also in effect until 11 a.m., and a flash flood watch continues until 8 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18.
Clayton County Fire and Emergency Services was busy with downed wires and trees overnight and is urging people not to go out if they can avoid it.
