Clayton County has had 6,879 cases of COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic, according to the latest figures from the Clayton County Health District.
As of Sept, 14, 2020, here are the case counts by city:
154 Clayton County residents have died and 633 have been hospitalized since the pandemic began about six months ago. That’s 50.5 deaths per 100,000 people in Clayton County–the same rate as Fulton County, higher than Henry (38.8), Rockdale (33.7), Dekalb (42.7), Gwinnett (39.0), abd Douglas (45.4), but lower than Newton (67.6).
