Tell Aerotropolis Atlanta what you think
Aerotropolis Atlanta is about to hold its second round of public meetings about the Greenway Plan, which would bring 350 miles of Beltline-like connected pathways to Clayton County and the Southern Crescent, including a 15-mile ring around Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.Â
Â
Six Southern Crescent cities and Clayton County won grant money from the Atlanta Regional Commission “to develop site plans and engineering concepts for a model mile in their community.” These projects, or Model Miles, were identified as priorities, according to the Sizemore Group’s draft study from 2018. Each city has a session coming up soon:
- East Point: Aug 24, 1 p.m.
- Clayton County: Aug. 26, 2 p.m.
- Hapeville: Aug. 26, 4 p.m.
- Forest Park: Aug. 27, 1 p.m.
- Union City: Aug. 27, 3 p.m.
- South Fulton: Aug. 28, 1 p.m.
- Atlanta: Sept. 9, 6 p.m.
You can attend virtually or give input via the project’s Social PinPoint websites about the interactive mapping tool, take a survey on “key issues and opportunities,” and learn more about future public feedback opportunities.
