Of the 84 Clayton County residents known to have died of COVID-19 as of July 16, 20 were nursing home or rehab residents.

Out of 689 residents, 643 have been tested, with 190 coming back positive for COVID-19. A total of 199 residents have recovered. It’s not clear why more people are listed as having recovered than the number of people who have been tested thus far.

52 staff members at those facilities have tested positive for COVID-19. At least one employee has tested positive at each of eight Clayton County long-term care facilities.
