The Clayton County Police are asking for your help in finding a vehicle with front driver’s side and possibly windshield damage after a hit-and-run that has left one person hospitalized.

The incident happened just before 11:19 p.m. Monday on Georgia Hwy. 85 at Lee’s Mill Road in Forest Park. When police arrived, they found the victim’s vehicle stopped on the left side of the northbound lanes. A passenger told them the victim had stopped the vehicle and tried to cross the road “for an unknown reason.”

Another vehicle, for which the police have no color, make, or model, then struck the person and fled the scene.

The victim, who police say has “serious” injuries, was taken to a hospital.

Police say the suspect vehicle “will have visible damager to the front left side and possible damage to the windshiels.”

Anyone with information is urged to call Clayton County Police Detective K. Jones at (678) 618-2565.
