The Forest Park City Council announced two sole finalists for the positions of city manager and fire chief at its May 4 meeting.
Alfred Barker will be offered the post of city manager, at present being held by Police Chief Nathaniel Clark and formerly held by Angela Redding.
Don Horton will be offered the post of fire chief following Eddie Buckholts’ recent retirement.
The fire chief of Redmond, WA is named Don Horton. He previously served in Portsmouth and Pine Bluff, AR, where Clark also has served.
City officials have been asked to confirm both candidates’ current positions. Neither position was on the public agenda nor were candidates’ bios or other information provided during the meeting.
